About Me

Lubica Stubnova - MBAcC
Born in Slovakia, I have come from a pharmacy background, having worked as a pharmacy technician with over 23 years’ experience in the field. While working in a pharmacy, I had always been attracted to a natural remedies, and eventually I have turned my interest towards East-Asian medicine. In 2013, I decided to change my profession completely and started to study traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
I am a fully qualified acupuncturist, a graduate of the London South Bank University in Chinese Medicine: Acupuncture. During my studies, I was fortunate to be mentored by Chinese acupuncture experts from the Confucius Institute of TCM in London, allowing me a greater understanding of ancient Chinese medicine and its application within my own practice. I have undergone an intensive clinical training in acupuncture, moxibustion, TuiNa and cupping. I completed my studies with an Honours Degree in summer 2016.
Furthermore, I also hold a Certificate in cupping therapy and TuiNa massage from the TCM Institute in Prague, Czech Republic, which I completed prior to started studying in London.
From my own experience, I am a passionate believer of the benefits of the traditional Chinese Medicine and its improvements it can bring to the health and well-being of everyone.
“My aim is to empower my patients to achieve optimum health naturally throughout traditional Chinese medicine therapies/practices and lifestyle management.”

I practise TCM acupuncture based on the Five Phase Theory which sees an individual as a wholeness with a focus on the underlying cause of disease and its connection to the mind, body and spirit. In the treatment, I combine knowledge of TCM with modern medicine knowledge to achieve the best treatment outcome for my patients.
In my treatment room, I can provide an attentive and compassionate ear as well as a calm atmosphere of healing and a gentle yet therapeutic approach. I approach every case individually, using the TCM diagnostic tools to identify the root of the health problems.
